Our Story
There's an old African proverb that says, "When an old man or woman dies, a library burns to the ground."
For decades, our founder's father was that library. He carried countless stories of family history, ancestry, love, sacrifice, tradition, the Nigerian Civil War, and generations that came before him. One day, hoping those stories would never be lost, he gave his father a journal with over 200 thoughtful questions he had curated and waited for him to write.
Months passed. Then years.
What happened next would change his life forever, and become the reason Inked Memory exists today.
