As we scale across Nigeria and beyond, we are looking for a dynamic and strategic Sales & Marketing Manager to drive growth, expand market reach, and elevate the brand.

 

Role Overview

 

The Sales & Marketing Manager will lead revenue growth and brand visibility across multiple channels. This role combines high-level sales strategy with creative marketing execution, requiring a commercially-minded leader who can convert leads into loyal customers, while overseeing go-to-market strategies and brand campaigns. You will collaborate across teams to launch products, manage partnerships, and grow Inked Memory’s presence and profitability.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

 

  • Design and implement strategic sales plans to drive business growth across B2C, B2B, B2B2C, B2G, and D2C channels.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of clients from individual consumers to corporates, schools, and government institutions.
  • Develop, test, and optimize lead generation systems and conversion funnels across digital and offline platforms.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

 

  • Lead outreach efforts targeting gift shops, bookstores, schools, companies, and institutions.
  • Build long-term client relationships that drive loyalty, referrals, and repeat purchases.
  • Create tailored proposals, presentations, and sales materials to meet diverse client needs and close deals.

 

Product Launch & Market Penetration

 

  • Coordinate product launches in collaboration with content, design, and operations teams.
  • Lead go-to-market strategy, market segmentation, and pricing insights using data and trends.
  • Track product performance, customer feedback, and competitor positioning for continuous improvement.

 

Strategic Partnerships & Business Expansion

 

  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships for distribution, co-branded campaigns, and market growth.
  • Explore new growth channels such as corporate gifting, educational programs, exhibitions, and events.
  • Represent Inked Memory at trade shows and activations to increase visibility and acquire new customers.

 

 Marketing Campaigns & Brand Alignment

 

  • Align sales goals with the digital marketing team to execute cohesive and impactful campaigns.
  • Provide sales insights to inform messaging, promotions, and campaign timing.
  • Monitor campaign performance using data dashboards to improve acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

 

  • Revenue Growth – Increase in sales across all customer segments
  • Client Acquisition – Number of new customers and partnerships secured
  • Lead Conversion Rate – % of leads turned into paying clients
  • Retention & Repeat Business – Client lifetime value and renewal rates
  • Campaign ROI – Return on marketing spend and ad performance
  • Product Launch Success – Performance of new products in the market
  • Brand Visibility – Social mentions, collaborations, and engagement rates

 

Qualifications

 

Education:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Certifications in sales, digital marketing, or CRM tools are an added advantage.

 

Experience:

 

  • 5–8 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development roles.
  • Demonstrated success in leading multi-channel campaigns and meeting revenue goals.
  • Experience in publishing, lifestyle, gifting, or creative industries is a plus.

 

Skills & Competencies:

 

  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and sales dashboards.
  • Strategic thinking with hands-on experience in campaign execution.
  • Excellent communication skills — verbal, written, and visual.

Working Conditions

 

  • Core hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with occasional flexibility)
