Location: 13 Babatope Bejide Crescent, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos State
Reports to: Ag. Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

As we grow our impact and expand our portfolio, we seek a proactive Business Operations Manager to build and optimize systems, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive operational excellence across the business.

 

Role Overview

The Business Operations Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of internal operations, overseeing workflows, managing vendor relationships, and supporting project delivery across all departments. This role requires a high level of organization, problem-solving skills, and experience in coordinating projects, logistics, and people in a fast-paced creative environment.
The ideal candidate is a systems thinker with exceptional attention to detail, a bias for execution, and a passion for efficient operations, storytelling, and customer satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Systems Management

 

  • Oversee workflows across production, packaging, logistics, HR, and customer service to ensure seamless daily operations.
  • Manage procurement, inventory, and vendor coordination to guarantee timely and quality product delivery.
  • Establish and maintain SOPs that enhance efficiency, scalability, and quality assurance.

 

Project Execution & Fulfillment Oversight

 

  • Lead the execution of key projects, including product launches, campaigns, and custom orders across departments.
  • Manage order fulfillment processes and vendor relationships to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery.
  • Monitor risks, track progress, and ensure all deliverables meet timeline, budget, and quality standards.

 

Customer Experience & Strategy Support

 

  • Supervise communication, resolve customer issues, and uphold a premium customer experience.
  • Collaborate with marketing and support teams to integrate customer feedback into service and product enhancements.
  • Analyze operational metrics, prepare reports, and support leadership in strategic planning and review cycles.

 

Business Development & Revenue Growth

 

  • Design and execute sales strategies targeting individuals, corporates, and institutional clients to drive revenue.
  • Identify and cultivate new partnerships and distribution channels aligned with the brand’s mission.
  • Represent the company at key events to boost visibility, generate leads, and close high-value deals.

 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

 

  • Operational Efficiency Rate – Time/cost savings from process optimization
  • Project Delivery Timeliness – % of projects delivered on time and within budget
  • Customer Fulfillment Accuracy – % of error-free deliveries and satisfied orders
  • Vendor SLA Performance – Quality and reliability of suppliers/vendors
  • Cost Optimization – Reduction in operational costs without compromising quality
  • Process Compliance – Adherence to SOPs and workflow standards

 

Qualifications

Education:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management or related field.
  • A Master’s degree, MBA, or relevant certifications is an advantage.

 

Experience:

 

  • 2–5 years of experience in business operations, project management, logistics, or process improvement.
  • Experience working in a creative, publishing, lifestyle, or e-commerce company is a plus.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams, vendors, and complex workflows.

 

Skills & Competencies:

 

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, CRMs, Excel, and performance dashboards.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across departments.
  • High emotional intelligence and people management abilities.

Working Conditions

 

  • Based in Lekki, Lagos
  • Core hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with occasional flexibility)\
  • Travel may be required to coordinate vendors, events, or logistics partners.
